I’m not a finance industry professional.I spent 15 years working in Surat’s hospitals — starting as a Store Incharge and rising to Hospital Administrator.
That is where I learned one truth I could not unsee — people are not broken by disease. They are broken by money. A cancer patient would arrive, treatment costing ₹8-10 lakh. No insurance, or a claim rejected on a technicality. The family would sell land to pay.
I saw mediclaim, TPA processes, hospital accounts, cashless approvals — all from the inside. And I understood: if people had been prepared — with an emergency fund, the right insurance, a little awareness — most of that ruin could have been avoided.
So in March 2025, I left the hospital and started Harshiv Symposium LLP. Now this is my full-time work — layman-to-layman education, sharing what I actually saw, honestly.
